Meet the Instructor
Lisa Chant, CVT, VTS (DI)
Lisa has been in the veterinary field for over 34 years as a CVT, with the last 17 years devoted to Diagnostic Imaging. She obtained her Veterinary Technician Specialty in Diagnostic Imaging in 2020 and was the first recognized VTS-DI in the state of New Jersey. In 2023, Lisa was the President Elect for the Academy of Veterinary Technicians in Diagnostic Imaging.
She started her specialty career at Penn Vet Hospital in Philadelphia Pa, where she taught vet and tech students the radiology basics which included taking proper x-rays on various small animal species and radiology safety. It was also at Penn Vet is were she learned about all the modalities of Diagnostic Imaging (CT, MRI, Ultrasound and Fluoroscopy).
Lisa is currently working at a specialty hospital in Mt. Laurel NJ as the Lead Radiology Technician. She lives in Waterford, New Jersey with husband Gary, 3 dogs, 2 cats, and an African Grey Parrot.
