Education For All

Vet Team Training

Vet Team Training  is owned and operated by professional unicorn, Amy Newfield, MS, CVT, VTS (ECC). Yes, that person whose cat is biting her finger out of love is the owner of this website.

With over 25 years of experience as a veterinary technician Amy lives and breathes all things vet medicine. Amy obtained her credentials as a veterinary technician in the 90s. She earned her Veterinary Technician Speciality credentials in Emergency & Critical Care in 2003. She went on to obtain a master's degree in leadership and management.

Amy first tackled the gaps in leadership education by writing two best selling books:
Oops, I Became a Manager
Oops, My Team is Toxic

Amy then saw another gap; a lack of great education for veterinary technicians/assistants and nurses. Amy wanted to showcase the awesome skills and knowledge of veterinary technicians and veterinary nurses.

Vet Team Training is the ONLY continuing education site that ONLY has veterinary technicians and veterinary nurses educators from around the world!

It's the way veterinary technicians and veterinary nurses should be learning; from each other! Real, practical & provided by someone who does what vet techs, vet assistants and vet nurses do!

Everyone is welcome to come learn from our knowledgeable veterinary technicians and veterinary nurses! In fact, much of our RACE approved CE is approved for both doctors and techs!
