Meet the Instructor

Alicia Carr, CVT, VTS (ECC)

Alicia Carr has worked in various roles in the veterinary field for more than 20 years, including general practice, emergency and in education. She became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in 2006, and then earned her certification as a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Emergency and Critical Care (VTS - ECC) in 2015. Currently, she is working as the Education Coordinator at Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists, in Glen Mills Pennsylvania. 

Alicia’s passion is providing care to patients with complex disease processes. She also finds it rewarding to teach students, and she often tutors veterinary technician students studying for the VTNE. She is also an accomplished speaker, delivering engaging lectures on emergency and critical care topics at prominent conferences and online platforms.

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband and five-year-old son, doing anything fun!
