RACE APPROVED: 1.0 Hours for Vet Techs & Vets
Surgical Management of Feline Ureteral Obstructions
(RACE 1.0 hrs)
Ureteral
obstruction in cats is considered a life-threatening condition and typically
requires surgery. Multiple surgical and interventional procedures are
available, but each carries its risks. The decision regarding which method to use
depends on several factors, as concise, evidence-based guidelines do not exist.
This lecture will review the management options, equipment and instrumentation,
complications, peri- and postoperative patient care, and follow-up
requirements.
NOTE: This lecture was pre-recorded live. There are no interactive features (polling, Q&A) for the lecture on this website.
