in smoke. There is an overview of how to
work up a smoke inhalation case, and how to treat a patient with smoke
exposure.
NOTE: This lecture was pre-recorded live. There are no interactive features (polling, Q&A) for the lecture on this website.

Meet the Instructor
Michele Hinks BS, CVT, VTS (ECC)
Michele Hinks became a CVT in 2006 and obtained her
bachelor’s degree in science from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2009.
She earned her VTS in ECC in 2014. She works at a busy company that
serves 7 independently owned hospitals as the Director of Training and Staff
Development.
She has previously held technical staff and animal blood
bank supervisory roles and spent many years working in intensive care units
which oddly are her comfort zone when it comes to veterinary medicine.
Her favorite thing to train is- the trainers! There is
not much more satisfying than watching skills and knowledge continue to be
shared and passed down. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, 3 crazy,
young kids, 2 goofy lab mixes, a freeloading feline, and a very judgmental
bearded dragon.
(So, she lives and thrives in chaos!)
