Meet the Instructor

Danielle Thomas, CVT, LVT, VTS (ECC)

Danielle has been a licensed technician since 2010 after graduating from Johnson College in Scranton, PA. After school she joined a multi speciality practice in Pennsylvania where I fell in love with emergency medicine and hasn't left. She loves the fast paced nature of emergency along with the variety of cases that come in. In her career Danielle has worked in many multiple speciality practices in Pennsylvania, New York and now Florida.

In 2022 she obtained her VTS in ECC. Her favorite part of emergency medicine is admitting patients when they are really sick, helping them get better, then walking them out to their family ready to continue their healing at home. She also loves teaching new techs and assistants emergency medicine and encouraging them to continue to grow in the field. She's always wanting them to learn more and strives to keep them in the field by taking the the time to teach them everything from basic triage up to advanced procedures.

When not pulling long days at work, Danielle spends time with her husband and daughter doing family activities and reading. She is RECOVER rescuer certified and a member of FVMA, VECCS, and AVECCTN.

Want to contact Danielle? She's available to lecture at conferences or your hospital. Reach out to her at:  Dmthomas789@gmail.com
