RACE APPROVED FOR VET TECHS & VETS (1.0 CE HOURS)
Anesthesia & Heart Disease: Beyond the “Heart-Safe” Protocol
(RACE 1.0 CEU)
So you’re
anesthetizing a patient with a history of heart disease. You use a “heart-safe”
protocol. Things start smoothly. You’re in the middle of the procedure, and now
the patient is doing less than great. What now? Understanding why your patient
isn’t
doing well is the first step. This presentation will explore how common forms
of heart disease affect anesthetic events, and what steps you can take to
minimize those effects.
NOTE: This lecture was pre-recorded live. There are no interactive features (polling, Q&A) for the lecture on this website
